The Tyrux Campfire Grill is a portable open-fire grill made from 304 stainless steel for camping and backyard fire pits. It features adjustable cooking height, a locking food basket for flipping, and a 360-degree swivel. It weighs approximately 13.12 lb and packs down to approximately 17 × 13 × 2 inches.

Cook over a real campfire without the hassle.

The Tyrux Campfire Grill is a portable, adjustable open-fire grill built from 100% 304 stainless steel. It was designed to sit directly in a roaring campfire, so it's overbuilt to take a beating — no warping, no rust, no flimsy parts.

Lock your food in the basket, then flip it like a rotisserie, raise or lower it over the flames in seconds, or swivel it 360 degrees away from direct heat to rest. When you're done, it packs down into its own grilling basket (about 17" x 13" x 2") and slides under a car seat, into a kayak, or into an RV.

Perfect for: camping, overlanding, glamping, kayak camping, beach fires, and backyard fire pits.

**Why 304 stainless steel?**
Unlike cheaper 430-grade grills that discolor and rust, 304 stainless resists corrosion, handles high heat without warping, and is food-safe with no chemical coatings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Tyrux Campfire Grill sit directly in a campfire?

Yes. It's made from 13.12 lbs of 304 stainless steel and designed to sit directly in a roaring campfire without warping.

How does the height adjustment work?

Slide the basket up or down the central post. It holds by leveraged friction for quick adjustments, and you can lock it with the included thumb screw.

Can I flip food all at once?

Yes. Lock food between the top and bottom of the grill basket, then flip the whole basket like a rotisserie for even cooking on both sides. The basket top adjusts for foods of varying thickness.

How portable is it?

It packs down into its own basket to about 17" x 13" x 2". It fits under a car seat, in a kayak hatch, or in overlanding storage boxes.

Is it rust-proof?

It's 304 stainless steel, which resists rust and corrosion far better than 430-grade steel, even after beach trips and salty air. Wipe clean after use.

What fuel can I use?

The grill can be used over wood fires, charcoal and campfires. Follow local fire restrictions when choosing where to cook.

What can I cook on it?

Anything you'd grill: steaks, chicken, wings, veggies, fish. Use the basket for direct grilling, or add the griddle pan insert for pancakes, eggs, and smash burgers.

Does it work for large groups?

Yes. Users regularly cook for families and groups while overlanding/camping because you can load the basket and flip everything at once.

What's the difference between the Tyrux Campfire Grill and a regular campfire grate?

A flat grate just sits over fire. The Tyrux Campfire Grill locks food in, flips, raises/lowers in seconds, and swivels 360 degrees away from heat — plus it packs smaller than most grates.

The Tyrux grill is an awesome piece of camping gear! The design and construction is very well thought out and practical. Over the years cooking on camp fires, I’ve used park-provided grills, a bulky steel grate I had to lug around (that rusted), rocks, coffee cans, and everything in between. The Tyrux is easy to transport, doesn’t rust, lets me put my food exactly where I want it in relation to the heat, and is easy to clean. If you camp and eat food, buy one!
